Mary Ellen Mark was one of the biggest influences in my photographic life. She not only made me strive to look deeper into my process, she made me look at the reasons why. Her compassion and understanding of those around her was a source of wonder and something for all to aspire to. She will be missed, I am so greatfull for her.
